Traits

Each character can choose one trait. The only requirement for the trait is that it fit in seamlessly with the character’s background. If you do not find a trait you would like that will fit into your character’s background, please feel free to adjust the description of the trait so that it logically fits in with the background.

E.g.; Sean decided he wanted Bronson, our intrepid monk, to have survival as a class skill. Although there is a trait that provided this, it did not fit into his character’s background. Instead, he just designed a new trait that provided the same thing as detailed below.

Wanderlust: All that wander are not lost. You however, have been lost many times while wandering throughout the lands. In so doing, you have learned how to live off the land and navigate in it. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Survival, and it is always a class skill for you.

Do not feel limited to the traits as listed in the Advanced Players Guide. For these purposes, anything you can think of that is balanced and fits into your character’s background is okay.
